If you are learning how to become a chef of fine cooking, should you specialize?
In general, a chef would learn a wide variety of styles, though some specialize in cuisine of different countries. Depending on what sort of food you like best could determine what sort of chef you would like to be. If you want to generalize as you learn how to become a chef, you are able to work out of a variety of kitchens. In most cases, private persons or parties prefer a chef who can prepare a variety of flavors.

If you are learning how to become a chef and were to specialize, you would learn one specific countries' cuisine. By being an expert, you may find yourself being in higher demand and making more money as a chef.
