Restaurant Management: Handling Employees

In the restaurant management business you are not only responsible for the customer service, but you're also responsible for your employees, and how they treat your customers. If your employees are treated badly, they won't care much about how the customers are treated either. On the other hand, if you treat your employees with kindness and respect, then they'll treat customers the same way. Here's a few ways you can show your employees how much their respected:

1. Offer them bonuses for good conduct towards customers.
2. Treat your employees like family.
3. Give them gifts when they do something right.
4. Compliment your employees when they've done something good.

A happy employee means a happy customer!
